I think we can all agree that 2020 has stretched us in ways we never expected. We have had to adapt to survive. Never before has just surviving, for ourselves and our families, been the goal!
I was inspired to share the questions I have contemplated this year, as I have faced challenges, similar to all of us. These questions have helped me shed light on how I will live in the future, when this pandemic is over and we return to something closer to our normal way of life.
I hope these questions inspire growth in you, and even your own thoughts on what this year has taught you.
What is really important?
Try answering this question as a general statement first and write down what comes to your mind.
Then separate into areas of your life like: Health, Financial, Career/business, Friends/ social, Love/Family, Personal Growth, Hobbies/Fun, Spirituality
What is really important to you in these areas of your life?
Where can I simplify?
A funny tidbit is that last year, at the end of 2019, I had this revelation/goal that I wanted to simplify my life in 2020. Well, in many ways 2020 forced us all to simplify! In some ways I embraced it, in other ways I justified my lifestyle. I have by no means attained my goal, but am instead still in the process of simplifying and will continue this momentum into 2021.
With the holidays and the new year coming, we have a lot to be hopeful for! Let’s take the lessons we have learned so we never forget what 2020 has taught us!
